The Mandarin Hotel in Barcelona commissions INSOLIT to illuminate the dining table of the restaurant where the well-known chef Ángel León will present his latest gastronomic trends. Patricia Urquiola, responsible for the hotel’s design, gives us the instructions on how the special custom-made luminaire should look like. Shape and color are essential to be integrated into the personalized decoration of the hotel. A note of technicality obliges us to motorize the luminaire to make it appear and disappear from the stage according to the use of the room.
